Abi O’Meara is a singer-songwriter whose music blends heartfelt storytelling, soaring melodies, and emotionally honest lyricism. Drawing inspiration from personal growth, resilience, and human connection, her songs explore the moments that shape us, combining intimate vulnerability with powerful, uplifting choruses.
Abi's journey into music hasn't been a straightforward one. Having spent much of her life battling crippling stage fright and extreme shyness, she made the decision in 2023 to confront those fears head-on and pursue the creative path she had always dreamed of. What began as a personal challenge soon became a passion for songwriting and performing.
Her debut single, Ray of Sun, released in April 2026, was selected as BBC Introducing CWR's Track of the Week, marking an exciting milestone for a first release. Written during the early stages of her musical journey, the song reflects themes of love, self-trust, growth, and finding light in difficult moments.
With more music on the way, Abi is continuing to build her catalogue of emotionally driven songs while developing a reputation for authentic performances and genuine connection with audiences. Her biggest ambition remains simple: to write songs that resonate deeply enough for people to one day sing them back to her.
